What types of produce do you offer?
We grow a diverse range of seasonal vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers and mushrooms. We also have soil grown tomatoes, year round, from our greenhouse. We use non-GMO seeds and prioritize Certified Organic and heirloom varieties whenever possible. Explore our What we grow (insert link) page for more details.
Are you Certified Organic?
No. While we are not Certified Organic, we are committed to growing with organic practices. We focus on using Certified Organic seeds from companies that are committed to providing non GMO seeds such as Johnny's, High Mowing Seeds, Hudson Valley seeds and Baker's Creek. We focus on IPM preventative measures as the foundation of pest control and only utilize OMRI listed pesticides as an absolute last resort measure. Weeds are managed through cover cropping and tarping instead of the use of herbicides. Synthetic fertilizers are not used in our production - we build soil fertility through cover cropping, crop rotation and the use of OMRI listed organic soil amendments from reputable suppliers.
